About

I'm Beryl Ann, better known under the artist name AUNHANA—or simply Hana—on the internet. I'm an artist from Hungary who works as a freelance 2D illustrator and concept artist in the publishing and game industry, and I've been an ArenaNet Creative Partner from 2018 to 2024.More than anything, I love to bring characters, worlds and stories to life through the artworks I create, and I specialise in stylised, fantasy-themed character drawings, paintings and designs. The art I create in my free time and what I'm choosing to share online revolves mostly around my original IPs and stories, especially my main personal project, Collinsworth, and other little worlds I dream of on the side.

line character artwork

I offer detailed line drawings of your character with hatched shadows, textured colours and additional shading as seen in the provided examples below. The drawing comes with a softly textured, paper-like background and geometric motifs to support the composition.

Upon completion, you'll receive...

  • 1 full-res 300 dpi version

  • 2 low-res 72 dpi versions (watermarked & unwatermarked and Glazed for additional protection)

  • 1 transparent PNG version (without the geometric motifs)

Please note that the prices below are starting prices and apply to personal, non-commercial and non-promotional art commissions only! See my Terms of service for more info.

Prices may increase depending on the commission brief since a request involving complex design and/or composition takes more time and effort to complete. The final price will be calculated based on both the character's and the request's complexity! An increase in price can be expected in the case of a heavily detailed outfit/armour, additional weapons/items and their detail level, a complicated pose etc.

bust

This is the only available option!
The character will be drawn from below the breast as seen in the provided examples.
Clothing pieces that may reach the area, like scarves, shoulder pieces, bicep, jewellery etc. will be included.

PAYMENT, ADDITIONAL PRICES, FEES & CANCELLATION

  1. After I contacted you and you agreed to the final price, payment happens in advance through PayPal's invoicing system.

  3. Due to legal reasons and according to my county's tax laws, the Client has to be willing to provide their full name and address for the invoice to be created. The information is necessary for me only to properly and legally account for the received income and will not be used in any shape or form afterwards.

  4. If I'm tasked to solely work from a written description and/or inspiration images only—without any concrete design reference to follow—, an additional fee starting from +20% will be added to the final price. The request will be considered a design concept and the final price will be calculated based on the complexity of the requested design.

  5. Additional characters may be charged +100% of the price depending on their visibility and complexity.

  6. Additional elements, like weapons or items, will be charged additionally depending on their visibility and complexity.

  7. Based on the commission request, 1 composition sketch will be provided and changes may be requested. Multiple composition sketches may be requested in advance and will be charged additionally based on the requested amount and complexity.

  8. Up to 3 minor modification requests are free of charge during the whole commission process, and 1 major modification request is free of charge during the sketch phase only! Any major modification requests are not accepted afterwards. Upon reaching the limit, any additional adjustment request will be charged additionally upon agreement with the Client and based on the complexity of the request itself.

  9. Any refund may happen only if I, the Artist, cannot further fulfil the Client's request for any reason.

commission process

  1. After the payment has been made, each Client receives access to a Trello board where they can see in which batch they are and the current stage of their commissioned artwork.

  2. First pass – sketch stage: After I started to work on your commission, I’ll send you a clear sketch of your artwork to see if you’d be satisfied with the overall composition, pose and expression. Based on the commission request, 1 composition sketch will be provided and changes may be requested. Multiple composition sketches may be requested in advance and may be charged additionally based on the requested amount and complexity. Bigger modifications, like changes to the pose etc., are only acceptable at this point.

  3. Second pass – final stage: I'll send you the finished artwork for review, and if everything's alright, you'll receive all files through a Google Drive link! Minor adjustments (including but not limited to adjusting, adding and removing small details, colour corrections etc.) are still possible at this point.

  4. Policy regarding adjustment requests during the commission process: up to 3 minor modification requests are free of charge during the whole commission process, and 1 major modification request is free of charge during the sketch phase only! Any major modification requests are not accepted afterwards. Upon reaching the limit, any additional adjustment request will be charged additionally upon agreement with the Client and based on the complexity of the request itself.

  5. Kindness, respect and patience go a long way! How long it'll take me to finish any Client's commissioned artwork depends greatly on my current workload and life situation. As my Client, I'll let you know in advance about any potential period during which you can expect your commissioned artwork to be completed and delivered, and if anything out of my control might delay the completion of your commission, I'll let you know! I'll keep in touch with you. Should any questions occur, feel free to approach me!

ORDER

Personal commission requests are sent in and reviewed by me with the help of a Google form. Each time I'm available to accept new commissions, the link to the application form will go live below and you can use it to send in your request.

HOW ARE THE REQUESTS REVIEWED?

  1. If I'm available to accept personal art commissions, the request form will go live and it will be there for you to fill out until I close my commissions.

  2. The commission slots will not get filled on a first-come-first-serve basis.

  3. How many and which requests I'll be able to accept from an incoming batch depends greatly on the number of requests I may receive, their complexity, and which and how many I may have the capacity to fulfil during the given time period depending on my workload and life situation.

  4. If you've sent in a request, you will hear back from me within a few days after I've closed applications—you will receive an e-mail if I can or cannot accept your request.

  5. If you send in a request, please, be ready to reply to me and keep an eye on your inbox! If I do not receive a reply within a week maximum, I'll have to give your slot to someone else.

  6. Send in a request only if you're sure and serious about commissioning me! If I'd accept your request yet you wouldn't be able to commission me anymore for any reason, be respectful and let me know in time so I can give your slot to another person!

  7. IMPORTANT! Please understand that your commission request may not be accepted and, as described above, sending in a request doesn't guarantee a slot! Please respect the rules I have laid out in regard to receiving art commission inquiries, my overall Terms of Service and set conditions. Understand that I'm not owing you my services as an artist, and bargaining or begging for a slot, trying to guilt me into accepting your request, any kind of harassment and any utterly disrespectful attempt at communication is not tolerated and will result in being blocked and blacklisted.

  8. I only respond to e-mails and any potential work-related messages from Monday to Friday from mornings to afternoons (CEST/CET timezone). I don't check my e-mails nor will I give any responses during the weekend and outside my set work hours.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I ACCEPTED YOUR REQUEST?

  1. I'll send you a confirmation e-mail including the final price I estimated based on your commission request. I'll ask you to reply to me with your full legal name and address for the invoice so I can legally account for the income towards my tax office. Further negotiations may happen if necessary.

  2. After the final price has been agreed upon, the full payment happens in advance strictly through PayPal's invoicing system. I'll create the PayPal invoice including all the necessary details of the commission and send it to you.

  3. After the invoice has been settled and I've accounted for the income, I'll start to work on your commissioned artwork as soon as I'm able to! :)

  4. After the payment has been made, each Client receives access to a Trello board where they can see in which batch they are and the current stage of their commissioned artwork. See the full commission process in the "Options" section!
